Since its inception, the ‘Help the Street Children’ Foundation charity foundation has been dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children through innovative initiatives and consistent support. Over the years, the organization has made a tangible impact in the lives of hundreds of children, empowering them with essential life skills, promoting healthy habits, and fostering community engagement. Over the past 8 years, the charity "Help the Street Children" Foundation has provided continuous support through monthly football classes, benefiting over 500 underprivileged children by offering them a safe environment to engage in sports and build social skills.
In 2016, Gediminas Tvarijonas, the head of the charity foundation, was awarded by the Minister of Health of Lithuania for his work with socially vulnerable children and their early prevention of addictions. His dedication was further recognized in 2024 when he was honored with the medal "For Services to Lithuania" by the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
The family football tournaments organized by the charity have been a unique and successful initiative, with over 40 tournaments held in local communities over the past six years. These tournaments have seen participation from numerous families, fostering community spirit and encouraging active parental involvement in children's sports activities.
